If you know me, you probably already know that I love anything pink. So when I decided I wanted a gaming PC, there was really no question about what color it was going to be. 😂
I wanted something that could actually keep up with me. I don’t just use my computer to play games. I stream on it, I use OBS, I work on CerenaVerse, and I’m constantly doing something on it. So I knew I wanted a pretty powerful PC that I wouldn’t immediately outgrow.
And that’s how I ended up with my pink gaming PC.
My PC Build 🎀
Before I get into why I love this PC so much, here’s exactly what’s inside it:

- Motherboard: ASUS TUF Gaming Z790
- CPU: Intel i7-14700K
- RAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB
- Storage: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB SSD
- Power Supply: Vetroo 1000W ATX 3.1 80+ Gold Pink
- CPU Cooler: Vetroo V5 120mm Pink
- Fans: Generic fans for now — upgrading to Thermalright 120mm fans
- Gaming Mouse: Redragon M916 Pro Pink
- Keyboard: Redragon K673 Pro
- Gaming Monitor: Acer Nitro 27″ QHD 180Hz
- Streaming Monitor: HP 27ea
- Microphone: Razer Seiren V3 Mini
So yeah… I didn’t exactly build a little starter PC. 😂
I wanted something that could handle gaming, streaming, and everything else I wanted to do without constantly worrying about whether my computer could keep up.
And honestly, it has done exactly that.
Why I Love This Build
The centerpiece of the whole thing is the HYTE Y70 Pink Case, which is probably one of my favorite parts of the build.
It’s big, it’s pink, and it gives me plenty of room inside the case. And yes, I absolutely chose it because it was pink. I’m not even going to pretend that wasn’t a major factor. 😂
But underneath all that pink is some pretty serious hardware.
The RTX 4080 SUPER paired with the i7-14700K gives me plenty of power for the games I play and for streaming at the same time. I can have my game running, OBS going, and whatever else I need without feeling like my computer is struggling.
That’s really what I wanted when I built this setup.
I didn’t want to buy a computer that was just good enough for what I was doing right now. I wanted something I could use for a long time and continue building on.
What I Use It For
Obviously, I game on it.
I play Fortnite and Dead by Daylight quite a bit, and this PC handles both really well.
I also stream using OBS, which was a big reason I wanted a powerful PC in the first place.
My Acer Nitro 27-inch QHD 180Hz is my main gaming monitor, while my HP 27ea sits next to it and is used for OBS and my streaming software.
Having two monitors has honestly become one of those things where I don’t know how I ever lived without it.
I can have my game up on one screen while keeping OBS, chat, or whatever else I need on the other. It makes streaming so much easier.
And of course, my peripherals had to match the whole pink aesthetic.
I’ve got my Redragon M916 Pro Pink gaming mouse, my Redragon K673 Pro keyboard(Pink and Black), and my Razer Seiren V3 Mini microphone(Pink) for streaming.
At this point, I’ve just accepted that I’m probably never going to have a subtle gaming setup. 😂
The One Thing I Want to Upgrade
I really don’t have many complaints about this PC.
The biggest thing I want to change is the cooling.
The fans I currently have are pretty generic, so I’ve already bought Thermalright 120mm fans that I’m planning to install.
I also want to eventually switch from my current air cooler to an AIO cooling system.
It’s not because my PC is having some huge problem. I just want better cooling, and honestly, I think an AIO would look really good inside the Y70.
So it’s partly a practical upgrade and partly a “that would look really freaking cool” upgrade. 😂
And I’m completely okay with that.
I Didn’t Actually Build It Myself
Here’s the one thing I wish I could change about this whole experience: I didn’t actually build the PC myself.
I had Micro Center build it for me.
At the time, I wanted to make sure everything was put together correctly, and honestly, I was way more excited about finally having my PC than I was about learning how to build one.
But now that I have it, I really want to learn.
Luckily, my bestie is wanting to build his own top-of-the-line PC, so I’m hoping I get to be around for that process.
I want to actually see everything go together and learn what I’m doing instead of just looking at the finished computer and going, “Wow, that’s pretty.” 😂
There’s something really cool about building your own PC and being able to say that you picked every part and put the whole thing together yourself.
So eventually, I definitely want to build one of my own.
Although I’m already pretty sure that if I do, it’ll probably be pink again.
More Than Just a Gaming PC
The funny thing is that even though I call it my gaming PC, I use it for way more than gaming.
It’s where I stream.
It’s where I work on CerenaVerse.
It’s where I create content.
It’s where I edit things, browse the internet, watch YouTube, and probably spend way more time than I should.
I wanted a computer that could basically handle everything I wanted to do, and that’s exactly what I ended up with.
Would I Change Anything?
Honestly? Not much.
I love this build.
I love the way it looks, I love how it performs, and I love that it can handle both my gaming and streaming without making me worry about whether my PC can keep up.
I have some upgrades planned, especially the fans and eventually an AIO, but those are things I want to change rather than things I need to change.
And maybe after watching my bestie build his PC, I’ll finally have the confidence to build my own someday.
Until then, I’m perfectly happy with my pink beast.
It’s cute. It’s powerful. It runs my games. It handles my streams.
And honestly?
